I think one of the most meaningful things you can do with your life is to be a part of some sort of positive change in the world. The natural world has brought so much to my life, and has led me with an open hand through everything I do.
A R T W O R K
I take inspiration from the wild places I walk, swim and explore. From the tops of the Lake District's peaks, to the depths of it's black lakes- I try to translate that same feeling I get from being in nature onto the paper I paint on, and the jewellery I make. I always strive to create work that reflects the beauty of the outdoors in the most sustainable, positive way possible. I've been painting since my years at Cumbria University from which I graduated from in 2019. Since then, I have been selling my work online, occasionally working with brands and taking on commissions.
A C T I V E
I currently teach a class at the Evolve Yoga and Wellness space in Wigton every other week, drawing on how I feel when I'm in these wild places within my classes. Focusing on feeling grounded and working with the breath to create stillness in the mind and body. I'm constantly a student of yoga, and learn from the way my own body moves every day. I believe yoga should help you to feel more connected, compassionate and understanding of how wonderful your body is.

As well as creating artwork and jewellery, I also work for the National Trust who as a whole strive to protect and conserve our wild places- a subject and act I am very passionate about. I'm constantly learning about the trees, and birds and flowers- finding my own sense of belonging away from a busy demanding world as I do so.
